IBM has been involved with Microsoft products for several years, and has been a Global Microsoft Alliance Partner since 1998. Our investment in Microsoft is substantial and was approximately $12 Million USD in 2000. At the end of 2000, we had established 25 MICROSOFT PRACTICES worldwide and are currently certifying Microsoft professionals at the rate of 600 per year through our Getronics Virtual University.
