English term or phrase: geek chic
Help everybody! I have to translate things that have to do with young music bands and there is a lot of terminology i am not familiar with (too old??). Here is the whole sentence: Since then their albums Voices of Animals and Men (which earned them a Mercury Prize nomination 2007) and Superabundance have received critical acclaim and appealed to their geek chic fan base. I did find out more or less what "geek chic" means, but have no clue on how to translate it into french... Can you help? Thanks

French translation:Débiles binoclards en costume
Explanation:
Geek in francese=débile
