Substrat Explanation: In German I would translate this with "Substrat" or "Testanordnung", which would apply here. I am not quite sure how this would be translated into English, but maybe this can help you. Pschyrembel, Klinisches Wrterbuch, ed. 1994, p. 1519 "Test, optischer" |

shelf of bottles or line of bottles Explanation: Essentially it could a bottle shelf. Porbably, it could a shelf of testing bottles , each menat for a specific test. It could mean a shelf of bottles labelled "ID32CÒ bioMérieux " has been innoculated. See if it makes senses in the whole context. I strongly feel that the word " galerie" means a shelf or a line of speciemn bottles lying there in the lab. |

(test) system OR (test) strip Explanation: "test system" OR "system" seems to be what you are looking for. I have also found several instances of "strip(s)" OR "test strip". See following contexts about Biomerieux : All these strains were biochemical characterised as E. coli using the ID32 GN system (Biomerieux, France). OR : Biochemical properties all of the examined strains were determined using standard biochemical tests and the ID32 GN system. OR: ... as E. coli by using the API 20E system (BioMerieux, France). ALSO: We isolated nine strains from blood cultures of seven different patients, one from parenteral solution and one from the hand of a nurse. Identifications were made by conventional bacteriological methods and API ID 32 GN strips (BioMerieux-France). http://www.nosoline.org/dergi/99-102.htm confirmed using API 20E test strips (bioMerieux, Inc, Hazelwood, MO). www.nppc.org/Research/00reports/PDF files/99026Ryser.pdf OR All of the strains isolated on the different media were purified and identified biochemically API 20E system (bioMerieux) OR: For the remaining Bacillus spp., only ATCC cultures were tested. All milk isolates had been identified with the API 50 CHB and API 20E test systems (bioMerieux Canada Inc., St.-Laurent, Quebec, Canada). http://cereus.bsnpt.com/bc.htm Internet |
