Explanation:
Normalement, il s'agit bien d'un tracé plat, d'un ECG plat, etc. Mais vu le contexte et la phrase, j'opterais pour cela -
"Je me suis évanouie, mon ECG est devenu plat..." Vu le contexte et le style.... ;-)

This is the exact medical meaning. The people who disagree are not taking this into account. Furthermore, to flatline also means to pass out = s'évanouir.

Contexte ? Si elle s'est évanouie et a repris connaissance spontanément, alors on peut penser que ce n'était pas si grave et "I collapsed = I flatlined =I was gone" = effet rhétorique, où flatline serait plutôt une caricature de l'EEG (-->EEG plat) que de l'ECG. Par contre s'il y a eu samu, réa et tutti quanti, alors le flatline serait plus sérieux, mais je doute de cette 2e hypothèse.
