Explanation:
Lorsqu'on parle de signaux qui ne sont pas manuels, au sein des forces armées canadienens on parle des "transmissions" et de "transmissions de campagne" (field communications); il semble qu'en français, l'expression signal-trained est eclipsée et qu'on fait allusion globale aux transmissions qui -comme teme- englobe ce qu'on désigne en anglais comme "signals".
