English to French translations [PRO]
English term or phrase: several terms
Sorry I cannot provide context as this is for a website and its products.

Pro Audio and Midi
Free Reed Instruments
Water Filters
Humidifiers
Dehumidifiers
Compactors / Disposals
Laser Pointers
Split AC
Ceiling Fans
Compressed
Regular (both last terms refer to fans)

Unfortunately, I need the answers fairly quickly. Thanks in advance!
Laureen

Explanation:
Sorry--I had all of your terms (except for AC split and compressed regular), when my cojmputer crashed, losing the ProZ window I was putting everything into. Here\'s what I remember: Audio Pro is a brand name, doesn\'t get translated. MIDI is an acronym, doens\'t get translated. Audio Pro est pour mixer le MIDI. MIDI free = *sans MIDI* (?) Reed instruments are instruments à anche, but I\'d use *instruments à vent* instead in a product list. Water filters for drinking water are *fontaine filtre* or *fontaine à eau potable*. Humdifier = *humidifieur* or *humidificateur* I\'ve always seen *humidificateur* Besides, dehumidifier = *déshumidificateur*. Disposal (household appliance) = broyeur, according to Termium & LGDT, but I\'ve always seen *triturateur*. Laser pointer = baguette laser. Ceiling fan = ventilateur de plafond; It is *AC* in French, too. *Compressed* is most likely *comprimé*, but could be *étroit*. That\'s all--sorry I lost all the Website references, because there were some good examples of how to phrase things in French.

Explanation:
[(Henry Doktorski) http://trfn.clpgh.org/free-reed/]
