Je pense qu'il ne faut pas chercher à traduire les mots mais le geste.J'ai vécu aux Etats- Unis et là-bas quand on fait signe avec les deux pouces en l'air, cela veut dire génial, super, extraordinaire. Ce signe est souvent utilisé pour donner son avis sur un film, une soirée, un vêtement et tout ce qui peut se révéler génial! En toute logique thumbs down est utilisé pour parler de quelque chose de vraiment nul.
