I'm chatting with a French guy whose English is not so great, and I'm trying to tell him in my not-so-greta french that I'm wearing off my eyes painting a bottle for my sister and she doesn't even like heavily decorated things.
I don't know how to translate even in the sentence: "When I think that she doesn't even like heavily decorated things..."
He doesn't seem to get this subtlety, can that be that in French you don't have this sense of even?
