English term or phrase: rotating storing ladder
When we look at the history of humanity, technology as we know it today has been around for a very short time, in comparison with some domestic objects that have accompanied our human life for centuries, like mantel pieces, room dividers, rotating storing ladders and so forth.

merci ! Il s'agit en fait d'une bibliothèque tournante ou pivotante, en usage au XIX.

Just like the 19th century rotating ladder, that used to host books and
would normally have been located next to the sofa; or the room divider; or
the mantelpiece. Such objects were culturally relevant at a time in which
home entertainment was not centered on displays and acoustic systems but,
rather, on reading and sharing together.
