Explanation:
Depending on the context, "Je vous aime" might be another option. Believe or not, it might sound quite romantic. Using "vous" in French, may be a mark of fondness, respect and admiration. Young people now (not that I'm old, mind you!)won't buy that, but older French songs use it all the time. I find it extremely romantic.

Sorry, i could not write any more comment....

To Héle'ne: only a small reason why i wrote that "te" means "toi" in Portugese: the asker says in the question "temas de amor". That has definitely something to do with translating from English to French (and has nothing to do with translating from French to English cause you stays the same in both cases :-)
