English term or phrase:voids rising
je ne suis pas sûre qu'il s'agisse de l'annulation de transactions ici :

Oui - périodes où il est impossible de louer le bien immobilier par manque de clients. Le problème de "périodes creuses", c'est que ça fait plutôt penser aux locations de vacances. L'article que je cite parle de "down periods", qui est assez parlant, le contexte étant le buy-to-rent.
Sounds odd to me; I find it hard to believe that a native-speaker would ever write 'void' for a vacant property.
It's a little hard to see just who is talking here, and to whom; I wonder if 'voids' might refer to rent increases that were disallowed / refused since the rent review 5 years ago? Could that make any sense at all?
It seems to me they are saying that rents have gone up compared to those of 5 years ago, even though lately (in the last year, for example?) they have fallen back by 11%. As a result, some rents which were being gradually increased to bring them up to the more recent level are still below the newer (but now lower) values, while others may in fact be higher than they strictly ought to be (as they can't be put down).
