English to French translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering
English term or phrase: stationary / motion furniture
Does anyone know a generally accepted translation of those terms? Motion furniture contains mechanisms, such as reclining backs or extending footrests (an example are the La-Z-Boy recliners). Stationary furniture is, obviously, one that has no mechanisms.
Thanks in advance,

French translation:immobile / mobile
Explanation:
Well, I wonder if stationary and motion would not refer to the fact that the piece of furniture has wheels or not and therefore can move, as a desk chair for example. The reason why I wonder this is from the websites I visited about furniture. About what you are thinking, reclining and such, I found:
fauteuil mecanique (pivotant et inclinable)
For this I refer to the same websites as before:

En fin de compte, j'ai utilisé "meubles stationnaires / mécaniques".
Merci bien,
