English term or phrase: Standard Fields and Templates
This is the name of a chapter in a software user guide. It refers to the Standard Fields and Templates that come with the software (as opposed to Fields and Templates that the User creates themselves). I found "Champ" for Field and "Modele" for Template (does that sound right?) but I was wondering what a good translation for Standard would be. Would you just say "Standard"?

You're right in all three of those terms! I have worked in a software localisation company and that's how we translated the English terms. You can also check grand dictionnaire.

Champs et modèles standard

Explanation:
note : standard does not take the plural mark.

Another term would be "type" (with the s mark in this case).
