Using air mover vent attachments such as the (Dri-Eaz Turbo Vent):
1.Select the location where flooring strips end.
2.Remove baseboards, core base and moldings, and mark all pieces to assist in reinstallation.
3.Ventilation openings – the expansion gaps between the end of the flooring and wall are exposed when moldings are removed. If no gaps exist you will need to curt a 3/16” gap with a jamb saw.
4.Install air movers to vent attachments.
5.Cover all excess openings with tape.
6.Install dehumidifiers, you may need to perforate floor finish.
7.Monitor progress daily with moister meter.
8.The dried flooring may need to be sanded and refinished.
