English to French translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Telecom(munications)
English term or phrase:Service Matters
This is being used in the document I am translating as a noun. I have only been able to find brief references on the Internet to court action in India. It seems to be something which can be "delivered". It can also be "used", and its use may constitute a violation of intellectual property rights. One "Service Matter" can be replaced by another.
I do hope someone can help me - (a) to understand what it is (b) maybe to translate into French.
No, it's definitely not prestation de service because that is another item within the same contract. It seems to be something more "concrete" - ie it can be replaced, delivered... working in the dark here !!!
XX undertakes, immediately and at its own cost, to rectify any defects and/or shortcomings with regard to the performed consultancy services or delivered Service Matters, or part thereof, in relation to the warranty
Explanation: des idées, aucune certitude, mais pense que service tt seul peut aller, simple et assez vague pour entrer ds le contexte sans aller à l'encontre de la loi indienne, même si un peu inexact, vaut mieux un peu flou que faux!!! (ooops, je sais c'est lâche mais...)
