boutons de la chemise de smoking Explanation: These are not collar studs but tuxedo studs which a type of decorative button worn in place of sewn on buttons on the front of a tuxedo shirt. I can't find any use of them in France. I did find a reference which said that the tuxedo shirt buttons should never have any obvious buttons and which spoke of bad American television series ;-) so maybe that is why :-) Dress studs and collar stiffeners [picture of tuxedo shirt studs] http://store.dunhill.com/UK/Eng/PagesPublic/browse3.aspx?p1g... :-) |
