Explanation:
Deux cas possibles :
Premièrement - D'après ce que je vois de ta phrase, ça se rapproche de la pose d'un biais (passepoil, ruban....) en angle (changement d'horizontal à vertical).
Dans ce cas, le biais (...) est 'replié' plusieurs fois avant d'être cousu pour former l'angle.

Pour le deuxième cas - si le biais(...) est coupé : là tu parles de 'repositionner verticalement(dans le sens inverse)'
