Hallo Caroline, nach näherem Hinsehen bin ich zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass man hier wohl doch beide Präpositionen nehmen kann, obwohl ich weiterhin vom Sprachgefühl her \"in\" bevorzuge.

agree  Christian Flury (X): Ja zu Privatkunden; bei der Präposition bin ich mir nicht so sicher; meiner Ansicht nach kann Markt auch als Abstraktum mit der Präposition "auf" verwendet werden.
