Es handelt sich um eine Schüttgut-Sammelanlage, die eben auch "a bund" genannt wird. Habe keine Ahnung was das bedeuten soll.???

Wenn nicht noch z.B. durch Tankstellenbefragung ein allgemein für portable und feste "bunds" gültiger deutscher Term gefunden wird, würde ich "This is commonly called a bund" frei mit "Hierbei handelt es sich um wall-/deich-artige Auffangeinrichtungen" übersetzen.
