und Kritiker konnten sich für seine Darstellung erwärmen Explanation: ganz wörtlich, es gibt aber noch andere Möglichkeiten, z.B. Kritiker waren von seiner Darstellung angetan etc. just a guess |

und die Kritiker begannen, seine Auftritte zu mögen Explanation: to warm to something can in German be translated as "man kann sich für etwas erwärmen", but I feel it is better expressed by saying that the critics started to like his performance - by the way, unless the context doesn't allow it, it really has to be the plural "seine Auftritte" instead of "sein Auftritt". They only liked the one? |
