English term or phrase: patron goddess
patron saint = Schutzpatron(in)/Schutzheilige(r)
patron goddess = Schutzgöttin ??
Renate
German translation:Göttin ..., Schutzpatronin von [der/des] ...
Explanation:
Sometimes the most obvious answer takes the longest...
The 3rd, and I think possibly most elegant, option would be to say

die Göttin ..., Schutzpatronin [von/der/des] ...

Explanation:
I don't think Schutzgott/Schutzgöttin would work. Never heard of, Duden doesn't list it.
I'd suggest one of these 2 alternatives:
Use Schutzpatron for patron saint and Schutzheilige for patron goddess (if you must make a distinction between the two)

Or:
Die Göttin..., Beschützerin von...
or
die Göttin..., die ... unter ihren besonderen Schutz genommen hat...
