Da es sich um eine literarische Übersetzung handelt, stimme ich inhaltlich zwar überein mit der Übersetzung von Andy, aber ich würde die etwas umgangssprachliche Konnotation nicht vernachlässigen. Vielleicht hilft also obiger Ausdruck im Zusammenhang besser.
