Vielen Dank für die zügige Antwort. Ich hatte zunächst auch an "Franchisenehmer" gedacht, scheint mir aber im Kontext von einer Anleitung zum Austausch von Bremsbelägen nicht angemessen.

Habe ich schon so häufig gelesen... allerdings würde vielleicht in diesem Kontext auch Händler vielleicht reichen, weil Franchising eine sehr definierte Handelsform ist.

Explanation:
Eigentlich ist der Franchise Holder (oder Franchisee) "nur" der Inhaber einer Lizenz, also folglich wäre die "korrekte" Übersetzung "Franchisenehmer" oder "Lizenznehmer".

Dem Kunden dürfte die gesetzliche Konstruktion zwischen den Unternehmen jedoch relativ egal sein, und da ein Lizenznehmer im weiten Sinne auch Vertragshändler ist, würde ich der besseren Geläufigkeit wegen Vertragshändler als Übersetzung wählen.
