I am having a bit of trouble with the sentence below. I know that EV stands for expected value, but I can't get the whole sentence to sound right. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

It is trading at a 2001 EV/sales multiple of 6.9, compared with xxx's(1,267p) 9.1 and yyy's(€24.4) 14.7.

Verhältnis Unternehmenswert / Umsatz
Explanation:
According to my experience, "EV" in this context stands for "enterprise value" - the valuation concept referred to here attempts to measure enterprise value (usually defined by looking at market capitalisation) as a multiple of sales.
