Bin mir auch sehr sicher, dass es Midland Bank plc (nicht ple) heissen muss, bedeutet Public Limited Company = AG. Base rate ist der Eckzins, bzw. Leitzins.


    eigene Erfahrung, lebe in GB, war fr�her bei der Midland Bank, die jetzt �brigens HSBC Bank plc heisst.

Explanation:
"Leitzins" is used only for a national bank or federal bank, all other banks set there rates with respect to the "Leitzins", therefore I would use "Basiszinssatz" see also the reference in my first answer.
