Dem Referenztext zufolge sind "sales-in"-orientierte Verkaufsabteilungen auf den Händler als Kunden fokussiert, während sich "sales-out"-orientierte Verkaufsabteilungen auf den Bedarf des Endkunden konzentrieren. Leider habe ich keine Ahnung, ob es hierfür feststehende deutsche Begriffe gibt, aber man vielleicht hilft diese Erklärung ein bisschen weiter.
