I am not absolutely sure, hence confidence 2, though I think within the context and together with the symbol (~) it will be clear to the reader. I also doubt that \"squiggle bond\" is a proper technical term.

Well, that's the only German occurrence in the whole web, so I'm still a little doubtful about this suggested translation, but maybe you're right....

agree  Derek Gill Franßen: Sounds right, I was looking for "Schnörkel-Verbindung", couldn't find it and was about to suggest "Tildenverbindung" as a new word. ;-)
