Hallo, ich übersetze gerade einen Film EN>DE, wobei das EN bereits aus dem Polnischen übersetzt wurde. In der Filmszene ruft ein ständig trinkender Typ eine Freundin an, die gerade im Auto ist.

Hi. Wait. (sie klettert im VW-Bus auf die Rückbank, um ihn besser zu verstehen)

- You sober?
- I beg you, please.

- I got interesting copy for you.
/- What's in it for you?

Something's bizarre happening,
so I thought about you.

I can't remember you acting
with no interest in mind.

- Then tell me.

Das ist alles, danach endet die Szene. Meine Frage: Was bedeutet copy hier? Ist es eine Redewendung? Vielen Dank für Eure Hilfe und schönes Wochenende.

ps: Derweil hoffe ich, dass sich das später im Film noch aufklärt...
