Asset security is hier im Sinne von Kontrolle des Inventars gemeint. Mit dem System Manager kann man nicht nur gucken wie heile oder kaputt die Komputer gerade sind, sondern auch verhindern, dass sie plötzlich Beine kriegen oder dass Komponenten auf misteriöse Weise verschwinden.

Ich weiss nicht wie man das am besten auf Deutsch ausdrücken kann. Mit Bestandssicherheit bin ich nicht ganz zufrieden.

Dass "desktops and laptops" "assets" sind, versteht sich eigentlich von selbst. Daher würde ich das im Deutschen nicht explizit erwähnen.
