Hi all,

in einer Betriebsanleitung für Mobilcomputer (Anwendung in Lager- und Leichtindustrieumgebungen) heißt es:

Mechanical and Environmental Specifications
• Drop-test specifications
- The high capacity battery meets the MIL STD 810F specification for ***shock and transient drop criteria***.
- The drop-test failure criteria consists of the following:
~ A split or separation of the ultrasonic weld joint greater than one linear inch
~ Inability to meet open circuit voltage, serial number input, thermistor output and charge tests
~ Minor cosmetic damage to the battery, such as scratches and dents, is acceptable.

Was genau sind die "shock & transient drop criteria" hier? Oder reicht es vielleicht sogar, nur von "erfüllt die Norm MIL STD 810F" zu sagen?

Der Test heißt übrigens Transit Drop und wird im Deutschen häufig in der Art "MIL-STD-810F-Norm, Methode 516.5, Verfahren IV (Transit-Drop)" wiedergegeben.
