Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general)
English term or phrase: enclosure guards
In dem Text geht es um Empfehlungen für ein neues Anlagendesign:
- Safety devices and ergonomics
Although safety devices must be perfectly effective, they should not increase the distance operators have to move between two workstations or machines; nor should they pose quality risk for the parts.
From this point of view, intangible barriers (e.g. vertical light beams) are not a good answer. Wherever possible, physical, mobile screens (e.g. *enclosure guards* or curtains with sensitive edges) are strongly preferable.

Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher was das im Deutschen ist. Gitter? Jalousien? ....???
