Etwas mehr Kontext wäre hilfreich. Von wem wird der Kredit gewährt, einer Bank? Dann wäre es bestimmt "branch" im Sinne einer Niederlassung. So allgemein könnte man vielleicht von kreditvergebender Stelle sprechen.
