Habe leider keinen Kontext. Worauf bezieht sich vor allem der letzte Teil des Satzes? Danke.

Da die Jungs im EN nicht sagen, was es wohl sein muss bei soviel TNT, kannst du es auch nicht hineindichten und musst etwas finden, was dem EN Kontext entspricht. Die Unterhaltung kann gewesen sein:

Boach, die Westen sind echt schwer! -> As much TNT as we packed into them they'd have to be...

oder: "Sid says this mix is going to be a real blast for our customers!" -> As much TNT as we packed into them they'd have to be...

so - no way you can guess what it is they would have to be.

whatever, the 2nd example doesn\'t fly because of sg. vs. plural. But what I wanted to stress is that as long as you don\'t know who or what the \"they\" refers to, you can\'t guess something into existence. It could be guys that are really mad (that\'s why it says \"Run!...\"), but it could also be something else. Cheers! ;-)

Explanation:
ist zwar auch nur geraten, aber ich denke dafür müsste einer etwas sagen wie: meinst du, wir haben sie erwischt/sie sind tot?
und der zweite sagt: angesichts der Mengen an Sprengstoff, die wir verwendet haben, müssen sie tot sein.

könnte natürlich auch auf etwas bezogen sein, das in die Luft gesprengt wurde. also dann: meinst du, es hat geklappt? ... angesichts der Mengen usw. muss es geklappt haben.
