English term or phrase: all-round IT skills
Hi there,

I'm translating my CV into German but I need your help with many words/phrases...

Context:

"IKT-Kenntnisse und Kompetenzen:
Strong all-round IT skills: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and instant messaging programs."

I've been suggested to translate it into:
'Sehr gute EDV-Kenntnisse: Microsoft Office Anwendungen: Word, Excel, PowerPoint und Outlook, Adobe Acrobat und instant messaging Anwendungen.'

But I have the impression that 'EDV-Kenntnisse' may not be thorough enough as IT...

Just a quick second note: I would refrain from translating it as "IT-Kenntnisse" as this rather implies network installations etc.

  -> Danke, Nicole. Ich würde jedoch bei "umfassende" bleiben, da es sonst etwas "dick aufgetragen" wirkt.
neutral  Aniello Scognamiglio (X): Hallo Iris: "EDV" ist veraltet (das sagt ein IT-Hase); der Kandidat hat zwar gute IT-Kenntnisse, aber eben nur "allgemeine" (diese Angabe ist gerade in einem CV wichtig!). "Instant Messaging" ist auch angegeben. Schade dass ich hier nicht mehr Platz habe.
