English term or phrase: Voetstoots
Sale of Shares Agreement

Well, I stumbled across this clause. I have figured out that it is Afrikaans, literally translating into: unüberlegt, ohne Bedenken.
Does anyone know the correct German translation for this? I'll include an excerpt below:

The seller gives no waranties, express or implied, and has made no representations in respect of, or relating to the property, other than the warranties contained in this Agreement.

wie gesehen
Explanation:
oder "wie es ist"

im Englischen "as it stands"

VOETSTOOTS

If the property is sold voetstoots, it means that it is sold as it stands, without any guarantees being given by the Seller as to the condition of the property etc... and he/she therefore cannot be held responsible for such defects at a later stage. It is important to note, however, that a voetstoots clause does not protect the Seller in respect of defects in the property of which he/she is aware but intentionally hides in order to mislead the Purchaser. Purchasers should carefully inspect the property and not rely on any oral assurance which is not actually guaranteed in writing.
