Es geht hier um Filmfonds, d. h. so genannte Garantiefonds, die Investoren unter Nutzung von Steuervorteilen die Finanzierung von Filmproduktionen ermöglichen.

Mir ist nicht klar, was im folgenden Absatz mit "closing" gemeint ist:

As part of this structure ABC will provide 100% of the production budget of the picture, on the condition that VIP3 receives a pre-payment of 80% of the films budget (the minimum guarantee) from DEF ("The Distributor") at the time of closing the fund's investment. This will effectively net a 20% equity contribution from ABC.

Insofern denke ich, dass Du hier vom "Closing" (kontextabhängig evtl. auch vom "Zeichnungsschluss") sprechen kannst.

agree  Ivanhoe: Der Zeitpunkt des Geschäftsabschlusses (in dem die Parteien ihre jeweilige Leistung austauschen, z.B. Geld für ein Grundstück, Zeichnung einer Schuldverschriebung gegen Auszahl des Darlehens) wird als Closing bezeichnet. Dietl/Lorenz
