English term or phrase:hourly equilibrium market wage
A price floor means the price cannot be lower than a specified price point.
• If prices are above the floor, there's no impact. It's as if the floor wasn't there.
• If the floor price is above the equilibrium point, then the quantity supplied is going to be greater than the quantity demanded, resulting in oversupply, which then leads to wastage.
• For example, if the minimum wage is imposed below the ***hourly equilibrium market wage***, this is going to have no impact. However, where the minimum wage to be imposed is above the equilibrium point, then less labor is going to be demanded – supply exceeds demand, which leads to unemployment.
Vorläufige Lösung: "Marktgleichgewichts-Stundenlohn". Fällt euch was besseres ein?
