Ist da nicht etwas redundant? Kann man das einfach mit "falls" übersetzen, oder entgeht mir da etwas?

Nachdem ich die wörtliche Übersetzung vorsichtshalber zu Papier gebracht hatte, kam mir spontan "Falls" in den Sinn, ehe ich mir noch den Satz durchgelesen hatte. Müsste hier passen.

Explanation:
Nachdem ich die wörtliche Übersetzung vorsichtshalber zu Papier gebracht hatte, kam mir spontan "Falls" in den Sinn, ehe ich mir noch den Satz durchgelesen hatte. Müsste hier passen.
