In a privacy notice:
We take appropriate security measures as we deem to keep personal information confidential.

I am not sure if there is not a word missing after "deem" such as "important" because somehow the sentence doesn't make sense. Or does "deem" here mean something else than "erachten" or "gelten"?

darauf achten

weil wir darauf achten, persönliche Daten vertraulich zu behandeln.

deem to keep klingt mir sehr nach einem festen Ausdruck, den ich hier eben so übersetzen würde
