those seeking/needing/requiring/wanting justice
Explanation:
The context is important here. If your author just wants to write about everyday people who have a legal problem, then you could write:

"those seeking/needing/requiring/wanting legal assistance"

more likely though, the author is referring to people who have clearly (in the author's opinion) been mistreated or mishandled somehow by "the system" or "the establishment" or "their peers" or "the state". If so, then the word "justice", as you mentioned, would be better:

"those seeking/needing/requiring/wanting justice"

???

Explanation:
The very short text is about between the communication between judges, attorneys, and Rechtssuchende. Insofar, legal advice is O.K. for attorneys, justice for judges. ... but then again there is another sentence: er spricht den Rechtssuchenden aus der Seele. He takes the words right out of the ... mouth. What should I say to keep this sentence clear enough?

Explanation:
I think that what you need may be as general as this. There were a great many Google hits - many of them offering legal advice, but there was also this guide

Regionale Adressen für Rechtssuchende

http://www.harald-uffelmann.de/adressen.htm

which has a wider scope.
