Wie könnte ich "Paneuropean Mono-Lines" und “Mono-Lines“ übersetzen? Und was haltet ihr von den anderen Übersetzungsvorschlägen (insbesondere 1 +2)?

Hier der gesamte Kontext:

1. Local Champions: Multi-product banks will focus on using their brand, customer base and branch network to transform existing bank customers into consumer credit customers. The credit products need not necessarily be manufactured by the bank, but can be outsourced. The advantage of this model is that selling credit products while the customer is at the branch is much less resource-intensive than other forms of selling and because they have access to a large pool of customer information that can be used to target and manage customers. The big disadvantage is the lack of specialization, especially also in distribution. However, we do not believe that traditional local players will disappear anytime soon. Ultimately, many may partner with specialists to get the best features of both models. Examples of banks are many: All the universal banks, Sparkassen, etc. are currently running this model, although many of them not very effective yet.

2. Pan-European Specialists: Specialist players focus solely on consumer credit and capture customers primarily by leveraging third parties’ networks or through direct marketing activities. Because this business model concentrates on consumer credit, it is often more proactive, innovative and customer-centric than the banking business model. Over the years, specialists have accumulated tremendous knowledge and are good at exploiting it, whether in marketing, risk management, customer servicing or operations. Their strength comes from sharing knowledge across geographies in order to apply best-in-class elements across credit disciplines. Santander Consumer Finance (CC Bank in Germany) is a very good example.

3. **Pan-European Mono-Lines**: This business model is a refinement of the specialist model, with a further focus on a single consumer credit activity and product. By focusing on one aspect of the business, whether a product (such as Barclaycard or Capital One, who focus on credit cards) or an activity (such as MBNA, which concentrates on affinity marketing), **mono-lines** can leverage in-depth knowledge to gain market share when competing against other players. **Mono-lines**, more than any other business model, must capture customers through direct marketing.

4. Servicing companies: As the industry becomes more mature and sophisticated, a series of companies will pick out different steps in the value-chain and develop appropriate business models. These steps will mostly have to do with backoffice activities or those activities considered less strategic. In particular, outsourcing will take place in the areas of collections, IT platforms, call centres and business prospecting, a trend that can already be seen today. E.g. Kessler International specialises in linkage marketing to develop business in the affinity marketing space on behalf of large international consumer credit players. Similarly Intrum Justitia, which specialises in credit management, has successfully established operations in multiple countries outside its native Sweden.

5. Centres of excellence: Much as some companies choose to become leaders in particular activities, some consumer lending companies will choose to become centres of excellence in particular areas of the business. Centres of excellence will continue to conduct their own lending operations – unlike servicing companies – but will also provide a particular service to other players in the industry. For example, players with superior credit card platforms will provide their services to other players in the industry. Similarly, players with best-in-class credit management system will be able to offer it to other companies. Examples of current players in this sector are MBNA and Findomestic, who have signed several agent banking relationships.

6. Intermediaries: They leverage the relationships they own with their customers in order to sell third-parties’ consumer credit products. The business model is focused on the pre-sale and selling activities, while product manufacturing and servicing is mostly conducted by product providers. The intermediary’s customer relationships are critical to this model, as is the ability of the intermediary to select from a wide variety of consumer credit offerings in order to offer the most suitable products. The intermediary business model is currently present just in a few countries, especially in the UK and the Netherlands, but is expected to develop in Germany as well.
