Beschreibung einer Rose im Katalog eines Rosenproduzenten:
"Fully double, ***cabbage-like***, deep silvery pink flowers ..."
Es handelt sich um eine Moos-Rose, also eine Form der Zentifolie, die tatsächlich auch als Kohlrose bezeichnet wird. Trotzdem sperre ich mich gegen die Bezeichnung "kohlartig", was so negativ ist für eine hübsche Rose. Könnte man nicht einfach "kugelig" sagen?

Bin ja kein Rosenexperte, aber habe den Begriff "gefüllte Blüte" schon häufiger gehört, was ja im weitesten Sinne besagt, dass die Rose sich so aufblättert wie ein Kohl.

Bin ja kein Rosenexperte, aber habe den Begriff "gefüllte Blüte" schon häufiger gehört, was ja im weitesten Sinne besagt, dass die Rose sich so aufblättert wie ein Kohl.
