English term or phrase: with its expression in terms of ...
For example, the function ACOS2S allows to replace the function arccosine (acos(x)) _with its expression in terms of_ arcsine (asin(x))

Ich weiß zwar was es bedeutet, finde aber die richtige Ausdrucksweise in Deutsch nicht. Jemand eine einleuchtende Idee?

Danke vielmals

German translation:An attempt at explaining (seeing as this has remained unanswered for hours)
Explanation:
Not good English.

Maybe they're trying to say that 'With function A, function B can be expressed in terms of C'.

Any help?

Thank you both.

That's what is meant, but when I posted, I was probably overworked and couldn't think of how to express it in German. I did it the next day ...

Sometimes it's better to stop working, once you can't think anymore as you'll be more proficient after some hours of sleep.
