In einem mathematischen Kontext ist Änderungsrate der richtige Begriff, in einem physikalischen/technischen Zusammenhang spricht man oft auch von Gradienten oder der Steigung (nur falls das Differential als Hintergrund für Anwendungen erklärt wird).
