say inscrutable rather than untranslatable - can't make head nor tail of it. Only one clue: "non-being" points to an inherent irreality of the lot. Trying to fill cheap wristwatches with lube oil sounds like a good start for an interesting discussion. Oh dear.

I think you are right. The text becomes more and more intranslatable (at least without the original text). Here a very nice example ;-) (just for fun):
in the case the enough non-being swatch fill up with the specified oil in the oil and lubricating cautious or with an oil that |possegga| were characteristic him/her/it.
he replaces entirely the every oil six monthes.
I think it's obvious that there must be an Italian text (possegga!).

Wörtlich übersetzt wäre das ja "macchina di formazione". Vllt. irgendeine Maschine zum Formen/shaping machine?
Im Übrigen gebe ich hazmatgerman Recht, der Text ist fast schon unzumutbar.

Sorry to hear that. For this particular term some sort of Hubwagen may fit if there was any statement in the text confirming that only a few centimetres of lift are required - that a Hubwagen could provide. However if more substantial lifting heights are required some other lifting gear (perhaps here: http://www.golia.net/en/lifting_trolley_3500.xhtml) would have to be researched. As for the rest of the text, personally I'd feel tempted to just sent it back for lack of original text. Of course that's an economic question as well.
If it is indeed MT feeding "training trolley" into such a machine might yield the Italian source term? Don't know, just guessing.

I have been informed that there is no original Italian version (I don't believe that, it's obvious that there has to be one, as the English "translation" gets worse with every sentence - seems to me that parts of it have been translated by MT). So we'll never know what this "Training car" means. Thank you all for trying to find it out ! Have a great day!

Not sure they would be that clever ;) I really think these are the two axles/wheels of a "Handhubwagen" that are pushed down about 10cm in order to lift the load. They have to be inserted at least 1m under the pallet. But I might be wrong.

Ein Suchwort wäre "Gabelhubwagen". Ich bin aber keinesweg sicher, daß so etwas gemeint ist; denn solche Hubwagen können zwar, sollten aber nicht zu Montagezwecken verwendet werden. Der Grund ist, daß die Gabel nur unterfassen können, keine seitlich definierte Auflage und nur sehr geringe Hubhöhe haben, so daß eine Last durchaus verrutschen könnte. Die Gabeln heißen dann im EN auch forks.

I think that it is probably referring to the "two axles" of the wheels of a (hand) pallet truck that provide the lift underneath the pallet. In which case, hazmatgerman's translation of Hubwagen would be even more correct because it doesn't necessarily have to be "by hand".

von dem offensichtlich katastrophal schlechten EN-Text wäre auch "Hubwagen" hier eine Möglichkeit. Gabelstapler hielt ich für unwahrscheinlich, weil die eher selten für den Einbau eines Maschinenteils verwendet werden. Denkbar wäre natürlich auch jede Art von hydraulischem Lasthebehilfmittel, das rollend eingesetzt werden kann.

danke für Deinen Hinweis, den ich auch als einzige mögliche Übersetzung gefunden hatte, nur dass sie hier überhaupt keinen Sinn ergibt. Um das Original habe ich bereits gebeten und hoffe, es zu erhalten - bin sehr gespannt, was die da übersetzt haben ;-) Buon fine settimana !

'with minim length 1 meter under of it support on the two axles of support.' is the original text, then "training car" is possibly a bad translation and could mean anything. It might mean "hand pallet truck" (the things you pull) so best check with the customer if possible.

T-car (training car) scheint in der Formel 1 ein Ersatzfahrzeug zu sein. Ansonsten würde ich intuitiv auf ein Test-/Schulungsfahrzeug tippen.
Vielleicht kann dir der Kunde den Originaltext zur Verfügung stellen?
