English to German translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering
English term or phrase:Sync Ready OUT AREA#3 / Sync Run IN AREA1
Sync Ready OUT AREA#3 /Sync Run IN AREA1
can I translate as
"Bereite Sync AUS ZONE#3/ Lauf sync EIN Zone 1"
or it is better to keep englis. version?
I have always problems in understanding what, and when to translate. here these are tech.inform. on a layout for techniciens.
Sync Ready (bereit für Sync(hronisation)) OUT AREA3
Sync Run (Sync(hronsisation) läuft) IN AREA1
Write a note for the customer and explain the problems involved.
OUT AREA and IN AREA should be fixed denominations and left as are. Sync Ready and Sync Run should be part of a display text which could be translated or not. So, you better provide both to tell the user what the actual indication might look like and what it means (in brackets). Other factors to consider: number of digits and type of letters (ä,ü,ß,...) available (UTF,etc).
Is this a master/slave setup for an industrial control bus system?
this is a sentence in a manual for techniciens use only, "_" is not pressent between words, the sentence is exactly the same I entered here, it should be a string appearing on a disply or on technical layout.
