In einer Operationstechnik für eine spezielle Tibiakomponente heisst es bei der Tibiapositionierung:

"Posterior HOOKS on the lateral and medial side of the sizing plate can be DEPLOYED to aid in size selection and positioning of the Tibial Sizing Plate. There are several options available for use of the posterior HOOKS during size plate selection and positioning... Make sure that the posterior edge of the tibia is free of osteophytes and soft tissue which could interfere with the proper positioning of the posterior HOOKS."

In Verbindung mit dem Verb "deploy" kann ich mir irgendwie keinen Reim daraus machen. Bedeutet es, dass die Haken?? "verwendet" werden oder eher, dass sie "ausgefahren" werden können???

Auf dem Bild sind die hooks (= Haken ??) leider auch nur zu erahnen, man sieht sie nur als kleine Ausbuchtungen.

Hat jemand von Euch vielleicht schon einmal mit einer solchen Tibiakomponente "gearbeitet"?

Wenn es sich um dieses oder ein ähnliches Produkt (siehe Link) handelt, was ich stark vermute, dann werden diese "Haken" tatsächlich ausgebracht bzw. ausgefahren.
Das "deployment" wird hier nämlich wie folgt erläutert:
"Posterior deployable hooks can be extended to drop below the inferior surface of the sizing plate."
