Es handelt sich dabei wohl um eine Art Sondenführung, aber was bedeutet "parental"? Ich kann keine Hinweise dazu finden.

Explanation:
Ich nehme an, dass soll "parenteral" und nicht "parental" heißen ("parental" wäre eine elterliche Sondenführung, ergibt wohl eher wenig Sinn). Ergo sum, die Sondenführung wird parenteral eingeführt.

neutral  Anne Schulz: Na ja, Weichgewebe ist zwar auch parenteral, außerhalb des Darms ;-), aber den Begriff würde man hier wohl nicht verwenden.
