Dieser Text handelt von computerunterstützter Kieferchirurgie. Hier ist der ganze Absatz: "Two types of KaVoTM phantom jaws were used for the tests. One of them is the EWL surgery lower jaw model, which is partially edentulous and lacks the canines and second premolar on both sides of the jaw. The second type was the KaVoTM implant model, which is fully edentulous. Different methods of fiducial locations were used for the different kinds of jaw models." Es könnte meiner Meinung nach "Rahmen" heissen, aber es kann sehr gut sein, dass einer von Euch es besser weiss!?

Bei einem Fiducial handelt es sich um eine Bezugsmarke (oder einen Bezugspunkt) in einem Modell. Ich kenne den Begriff aus der Leiterplattenherstellung. Dort wird er häufig nicht übersetzt. Zwar bezieht sich der Referenztext auf die Leiterplattenherstellung, ich trotzdem, dass er für Dich hilfreich ist. Im Text unter dem anderen Link befindet sich eine recht treffende Abbildung von den Fiducials.
