English term or phrase: Constrained liner, stagbeetle and termite forceps
Hi,

I'm working on a mdical IFU and am not sure if a constrained liner is translated as "bewegungseinshcränkende Innenschale". These forceps are also not known to me. If someone could help me with this asap please. I need to turn the job in byi tomorrow....

Hirschkäfer, Wagnerkappe
Explanation:
stagbeetle- Hirschkäfer
constrained liner: this is a device specifically designed to address patients at high risk of dislocation due to history or prior dislocations, bone loss, joint or soft tissue laxity, neuromuscular disease, or intraoperative instability. See a photo at the following URL:www.howmedica.com/osteonics/hips/oshbr6.htm
I suspect this device is the"Wagnerkappe' described in:
www.ortho-hamburg.de/klinik/spektrum/
Sorry, I cannot offer anything for termite forceps. Forceps is of course Forceps/ Forzeps/ Zange/ Pinzette/ Schere but none of my dictionaries or search engines came up with anything under the combination termite forceps. Good luck! J.
